We are hoping to bring home a boy who is getting ready to age out of the system. He is in Eastern Europe and has CP. We are all very excited about this new journey in our life and look forward to having him home with us.
Active labor...it's something that can't be ignored....it can't be stopped....it happens, as a natural force does what it knows to do.
Adoption can be the same, being propelled along when you really didn't plan on it. Not your timing, not in your budget, paperwork that makes all other paperwork look like nothing. Mountains so high, that can't be moved or walked over by us.
All for that face, that face that you have waited your whole life looking for, even when you didn't realize who you were looking for. In all the doubt, the ridiculousness of it, I see that face in my mind and I know that he is mine and I can rest in that.

For Hanson, once upon a time, I had looked long and hard at you and considered bringing you into our home. But, I chose to reject you and now you have gone to Jesus. So very sorry little guy, Jesus is all the family you need now.
